    Hot yoga

    An energetic class that will have you sweating! In our Hot Yoga classes we focus on building strength and flexibility through a series of poses (or asanas) that with a little added heat help your body open up and experience transformation.

    During Hot Yoga we concentrate on a set of 26 poses throughout the class. At the end of this 60 minute class you will feel energised and ready to take on the rest of your day. Hot Yoga is practiced at a consistent 34 degrees.

    Suitable for: All levels from beginner to advanced. Expecting mothers should avoid Hot Yoga classes.
    Duration: 60 minutes

    Vinyasa yoga

    Often called Vinyasa Flow, this class focuses on your own personal journey in yoga by working to strengthen and awaken your body.

    Working with a series of flowing movements, Vinyasa Yoga includes balancing postures, inversions and guided floor work and relaxation techniques. These classes will help improve flexibility and relaxation.
    Vinyasa Yoga is practiced at a consistent 28 degrees.

    Duration: 60 minutes

    Yin yoga

    The perfect way to relax, recover and heal your mind and body. A slow pace class that promotes relaxation both physically and mentally, Yin Yoga benefits flexibility, relaxation and inner tranquillity and helps to improve your body’s symmetry. Through holding a series of poses for longer periods of time to help facilitate the deep release of inner tension.

    Yin Yoga is a great way to rest the mind and body in a safe and comfortable environment. Yin Yoga is practiced at 24 degrees.

    Vinyasa/Yin yoga

    A combination of Vinyasa Yoga and Yin Yoga, this class encourages the body to strengthen and stretch as you work through a sequence of classic Yin Yoga poses. A holistic yoga class, long deep holds will give you a yoga experience that will leave both your mind and body feeling relaxed. Vinyasa/Yin Yoga is practiced at 24 degrees.

    Pre-natal yoga

    A class specifically tailored to help you feel your best in your journey toward birth and beyond. Our Pre-Natal Yoga class is designed to help expecting mothers come together in a supportive environment to learn the mindful movements of yoga.

    A gentle class to assist mothers during pre-natal exercise and post-natal recovery. At Hola Yoga, our Pre-Natal yoga class is designed to prepare both the mind and body in its journey toward labour and motherhood. Pre-Natal Classes are held in a non-heated room. Note: Expecting mothers should avoid Hot Yoga classes.

    Vinyasa Strength

    This class incorporates Vinyasa flow with strengthening training that focuses on building and engaging your whole body strength to support you in more advanced postures. This class will build stamina, strength and mobility with time to wind down for savasana and meditation.

    Slow flow

    The ideal class to cultivate awareness of movement and breath at a steady pace. This class is centred around not only conditioning the body, but improving temperament, discipline and mental focus.

    Taken at a slower pace than our Vinyasa Flow class, this style is still strong and physically dynamic. The slower transitions between poses encourage mindfulness, resilience and self-compassion.

    Suitable for: All levels from beginner to advanced.
    Duration: 60 minutes

    Core & release

    A combination of yoga and mat based pilates our Core and Release classes begin with conditioning movements. Focusing on the core and pelvic floor muscle groups we then shift our focus to deep stretching. A great class to help release major muscle groups using props (e.g. using myofascial balls).

    Duration: 60 minutes

    Movement flow

    Movement flow is an integrative sequence of movement inspired by various disciplines including yoga, gymnastics, martial arts, contemporary dance and others. The creative flow of movements will explore concepts of power, momentum, control and fluidity to enhance the connection of body-mind-soul allowing for the full expression of our true selves. To move to to feel. To feel is to heal. To heal is to Love.

    Flowlates

    Flowlates allows you to develop tone and strength in all the major muscle groups, enhancing your stamina and flexibility as well as improving your balance. This class will help to calm the mind and de-stress the body. We use props like Pilates rings and resistance bands. You will work up a sweat during this fun-filled, relaxing class, going through the motions of Pilates and Yoga infused movements.

    Yoga wheel

    This specialised class combines the use of a yoga wheel with traditional asanas (postures). Designed to open up areas that are typically tight due to modern-day living; the yoga wheel expands the chest and shoulders, stretches the hip flexors and rejuvenates the spine. It’s a whole body experience.
